Dinner With Delores is the third track on Prince's 18th album Chaos And Disorder (his second to be released using the name  ), and, one month prior to the album's release, Dinner With Delores was released as the album's first and only single in the UK, Germany and Japan (in the USA the track was only available on a promo single).
Initial tracking took place in early April 1996, at South Beach Studios, Miami Beach, FL, USA, in what is believed to be the final session with Michael B. and Sonny T. as regular bandmembers for a number of years (during the same set of sessions which produced new versions of Chaos And Disorder and Right The Wrong, and where Prince also mixed and completed the Chaos And Disorder album).
