Don’t Stop The Music, a cover version of the track by Yarbrough and Peoples, was interpolated during a 2013 rehearsal stream of Days Of Wild (which also included portions of Ain’t Nobody and Family Affair).
The track first appeared on the duo’s 1980 debut album The Two Of Us, and was released the following year as a single, when it reached number one on the US R&B chart. It was written by Jonah Ellis, Alisa Peoples and Cavin Yarbrough. No studio version by Prince, or full live performance as a separate track, is believed to exist.
