Dr. Feelgood is a song by Aretha Franklin, which first appeared on the 1967 album I Never Loved a Man the Way I Love You, and was written by Aretha Franklin and Ted White.

In 1992, an excerpt of a live version of the track (sung by Rosie Gaines) was included in the Diamonds And Pearls Video Collection VHS and DVD. The full performance of the song has never been released, neither was an audio-only release.

Dr. Feelgood is not believed to have been recorded in the studio by Prince and/or Rosie Gaines when she was a member of The New Power Generation. Other songs from I Never Loved a Man the Way I Love You have been performed live by Prince with his bands over the years : Respect, (a cover of) Drown In My Own Tears, I Never Loved A Man (The Way I Love You) and Do Right Woman, Do Right Man. ‘’Baby, Baby, Baby’’ was also rehearsed with The Revolution in 1984.
