Eleven is the third track on Madhouse's second and final album 16. The track was written and performed by Prince, Eric Leeds, Levi Seacer, Jr. and Sheila E. (credited as Madhouse).

Initial tracking took place on 30 July 1987, at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA (the day after The Sex Of It, during the same one-day session that produced Fifteen, Ten, Ten And ½, and three instrumentals later named Night Owl, Overnight, Every Night and Andorra, and the day before Twelve and another instrumental later named Kenya); it is likely that the title was assigned only after the final sequence had been arranged for the album. The track opens with a sampled line of dialogue by Salvatore Corsitto as Amerigo Bonasera from the 1972 movie The Godfather (a movie also sampled on Thirteen and Sixteen). The song also contains a repeated (Fairlight) sample of Susannah Melvoin saying the phrase "baby doll house", first used in the track Baby Doll House.
