Fascination is the ninth track on Prince’s 21st album The Truth (his fifth using the name ). The track was recorded in the Easter weekend of 1997 at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. To have it fit in with the acoustic feel of The Truth album Prince removed the drums in the mix, except the kick drum.
