Segue [# 1] is the fourth track on the New Power Generation's first 'solo' album Gold Nigga (third track on later pressings of the CD). It is a skit in which Tony M. calls the Record Plant, Hollywood, CA, USA to ask if other band members are there yet, and to pass on the message that he is listening to a mix they just made and would be there soon.

Segue [# 2] is the sixth track on the New Power Generation's first 'solo' album Gold Nigga (fifth track on later pressings of the CD). It is a skit in which a bandmember (possibly Damon Dickson or Kirk Johnson) calls the Record Plant, Hollywood, CA, USA to pass on the message to Tony M. to come to Casey's Bar (possibly Casey's Irish Pub in Los Angeles) to try out a new song (presumably Black M.F. In The House, which follows).

Segue [# 3] is the tenth track on the New Power Generation's first 'solo' album Gold Nigga (ninth track on later pressings of the CD). It is a skit in which Tony M. sees the other band members after talking to "the record company" and being told they need a new song with a more positive message. Sonny T. and Michael B. mention a new groove they were working on (presumably 2gether, which follows).

Segue # 4

Segue [# 4] is the twelfth track on the New Power Generation's first 'solo' album Gold Nigga (eleventh track on later pressings of the CD). With a musical backdrop played by the band, there are two parallel phone conversations taking place; one in which Tony M. is talking to Kirk Johnson, who suggests recording some live tracks. In the other conversation, a woman is talking to a friend about going to a concert that night by the New Power Generation; the two conversations end by setting the scene for Call The Law and the following track Johnny, which is made to sound like a live recording.
