Interesting is the first track on Mavis Staples' first Paisley Park Records album Time Waits For No One. The song was written and produced by Prince.

Basic tracking took place on 10 February 1988, at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. The song was then sent (along with Jaguar) to Mavis Staples in Memphis, Tennessee, where she recorded lead vocal overdubs with producers Al Bell, Homer Banks and Lester Snell at Ardent Studios. This is one of only two songs recorded by Prince specifically for inclusion on Time Waits For No One (the other being Time Waits For No One); the other songs were updates of earlier recordings.
