Married Man is a guitar-based rocker about infidelity. It was recorded in late May at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California during sessions that yielded material for Jill Jones (Come Elektra Tuesday, Polka-Dotted Tiger, Living Doll, Killin’ At The Soda Shop and For Love).
Prince first cut it with his own lead vocal, and it is possible that, but not entirely clear if Jill Jones record a lead vocal for it, too, for possible use on her eponymous album, where it was ultimately not included. It remains unreleased
