• 1989 – UK release of Aretha Franklin & James Brown’s single Gimme Your Love, containing remixes by Prince
• 1995 – UK release of Rosie Gaines’ single I Want U
• 2004 – The NPG Music Club’s Glam Slam VIP room streams two previously unreleased tracks: Glasscutter (later released for download) and San Jose Jam (an instrumental jam of D.M.S.R. recorded at a soundcheck on the Musicology tour)

• 1982 – Beverly Hills, CA: Beverly Theatre Billboard announced this show to celebrate the re-opening of the Theatre. Prince was announced together with Devo. Devo did play, but the Prince show never materialized.
• 1984 – Minneapolis, MN, USA – First Avenue, 7th Street Entry / canceled when scheduled act Hoodoo Gurus refused to give up their slot.
• 1988 – Detroit, MI, USA: Joe Louis Arena
• 1997 – Las Cruces, NM, USA: Club West (a.m.)
