Romance 1600 is the sixth track on Sheila E.’s second album Romance 1600. It was written and produced by Prince, but credited to Sheila E.
Basic tracks were recorded on 5 February 1985 at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California (the day after a concert in Memphis, TN, USA, and three days before recording Yellow).

  • The song contains the lyric "All for one, one for all, fun for everyone," which is later reused on The Ball (the line is a paraphrase of the motto "All for one, one for all" from The Three Muskateers). The same line in Spanish (Una para todos, y todos para uno) is also said by Mayte at the beginning of We March.
