Skip 2 My U My Darling is the ninth track on the 1991 French release of Jevetta Steele’s first solo album Here It Is (Jevetta Steele is also part of the group The Steeles). The song was removed from the 1993 worldwide reissue, for unknown reasons.

The song started life as Skip 2 My U , tracked on 10 December 1990, at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. Prince does not appear on the track as released by Jevetta Steele in 1991. His version however was released (as Skip To My You My Darling) in 2023 as part of the Diamonds And Pearls Super Deluxe Edition.
