Somewhere Here On Earth is the third track from Prince’s 32nd album Planet Earth, and a week prior to the album’s initial release (with the Mail on Sunday newspaper in the UK and Ireland) it was included as the b-side of Guitar, the first single from the album, in Europe. Basic tracking dates are uncertain, but it is believed that the track was recorded in early March 2007 at 3121 at The Rio in Las Vegas, Nevada as the track was premiered with Christian Scott on 10 March 2007 (a.m.) as an instrumental and 11 March 2007 (a.m.) as the full vocal track.
