Extraloveable
The digital single Extraloveable was released in the USA on 29 November, 2011, after being released in Canada and other territories the previous week. The single contains a 2011 re-recording of the previously-unreleased 1982 track Extraloveable, featuring a rap by Andy Allo >> Read more.
On 23 November, 2011 a single of Extraloveable, containing a 2011 re-recording of the previously-unreleased 1982 track Extraloveable, was released on iTunes Canada. The song features a rap by Andy Allo, and was presented as a Canadian exclusive to celebrate the tour to come, but it was also available in Europe and in Australia from the 24th onwards.
Recording session with Trombone Shorty and Maceo Parker at Paisley Park Studios
Trombone Shorty posted on Twitter on 23 November, 2011: "Dream come true worked in the studio with Prince and Maceo Parker yesterday!!!" He had posted the previous day that he was in Minneapolis, so it can be assumed that the session took place at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA. Andy Allo posted the following day that she hoped Shorty would take up the offer of joining the band on the Welcome 2 Canada Tour.
Andy Allo: Oui Can Luv (Demo)
On 11 November, 2011 a 1:00 video (audio only with a static image) of an acoustic demo of Oui Can Luv (a renamed version of We Can Funk, with a revised chorus to match) was streamed on Andy Allo’s Facebook page, with the tagline "CHECK OUT WHAT EYE FOUND IN PRINCE'S VAULT (Demo recorded in Sacramento on 8/31/11 using ProTools 9 & a Sterling Audio ST69 Mic)". Prince’s involvement is unknown, however.

Late August, 2011, recording sessions @ Powerplay Studios, Maur, Switzerland
Zürcher Oberländer reports that Prince recorded at Powerplay Studios, Maur, Switzerland, from 20-31 August, 2011. Nothing else is known about these recording sessions.
Prince’s third, fourth and fifth albums Dirty Mind, Controversy and 1999 were to be re–released 19 April on 180g vinyl by Warner Bros./Rhino Records, but they were delayed until 10 May. No additional information is known yet about packaging or anything that is unique to these releases.
