Touch Of Love is an unreleased song by Ingrid Chavez, recorded with an improvised musical backing by Prince in mid-December 1987, at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota (shortly after cancelling the release of “The Black Album”, during the same set of sessions as Reason Enough, Heaven Must Be Near, Crystal City Cry, Wintersong, Whispering Dandelions, Slappy Dappy, Candle Dance, Elephant Box, Blue Boy, Jadestone, Sad Puppet Dance, Standing In The Rain and Cross The Line). Prince’s music comprised of chirping bird sound effects and sparse piano notes. Unlike many of the other tracks recorded during the sessions, this track is not known to have been worked on further at a later date. The track remains unreleased.
