Dirty Mind is a Prince video released for broadcast and to promote the single.
Shooting took place in Los Angeles, California on 24 October 1980. Similar to the Uptown visual promo, this video shows Prince and his band lip-syncing to a live performance. The band plays on stripped down version of the Dirty Mind Tour concert stage, that was used for both this video and Uptown, shot the same day.
Of note, Dirty Mind features the last appearance of Andre Cymone in a Prince video.
The video was included on The Hits Collection in 1993.
