Gangster Glam is a Prince and the New Power Generation video. It was filmed together with other Gett Off remixes videos at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, Minnnesota and Prince’s Galpin Blvd. House, Chanhassen, Minnesota in late July - early August 1991.

Although Tony M. is the lead-singer on this song, Prince is seen nearly as often in the video. In Gangster Glam, Prince experiments with rarely-seen looks, including a bikini-brief bathing suit with suspenders and has fun on rollerskates.

  • Footage of Gangster Glam was later included in the Pink Cashmere video.
  • The song samples a quotation, "Hold it, Fred", as said by the character, Aunt Esther Anderson, played by LaWanda Page. The sample refers to Aunt Esther's on-screen brother-in-law, Fred Sanford, played by comedian, Redd Foxx. It is sampled from the popular US television sitcom Sanford and Son produced by NBC, and which ran from 1972-77. When the sample is heard in the video, at around 5 minutes, a monochrome photograph of Aunt Esther is shown. An image of Aunt Esther also features in the video for Sexy M.F..
