Dolphin is the eighth track (sixth song) on Prince’s 17th album The Gold Experience, the first album to be credited to , and, around the time of the album’s release, Dolphin was available as a promo single, available only on cassette in the UK. however, already in 1993, Dolphin was included in the Glam Slam Ulysses stage-show, during the segment titled “Lotus Land”.
