While the first three commercial videos to promote singles issued from the Purple Rain album contained footage from the film (When Doves Cry, Let's Go Crazy and Purple Rain), the two following videos (I Would Die 4 U and Take Me With U) were live performances and can be also seen as promotional tools for the Purple Rain Tour.

The video for Baby I’m A Star is from the same Landover show.
