Rhythm Angel is an unreleased song lyric written in 1987, which may or may not have been recorded in the studio. The lyrics exist on a notepad along with lyrics from Latino Barbie Doll and Famous. The other songs on the notepad were intended for Sheila E., and it’s possible this one was also, although she may not have recorded a version of the track. The first half of the chorus was later reused in Listen 2 The Rhythm (later renamed The Rhythm Of Your ♥) - “Shine like the sun, cry like the rain / Feel like an angel, know no pain”, but the two songs are otherwise lyrically separate.
