This entry details unreleased videos for the song Daddy Pop. Version 1 was shot in late May 1991 at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, Minnesota. during rehearsals. The video was edited using three takes, utilizing the audio of one of them, The performance is similar to the rendition of the song on the Arsenio Hall Show in September 1991 and the Diamonds And Pearls Tour the following year.
Version 1 was edited for the Diamonds And Pearls Video Collection but did not make the final cut for unknown reason. Some footage of it was included in the BBC Omnibus The Prince Of Paisley Park documentary, that aired in the UK in late 1991.
In January 1992, Sotera Tschetter directed Version 2, a live take in Studio C, shot together with similar performances of Willing And Able, Money Don’t Matter 2 Night and Call The Law.
In April 1992 Version 3 was made combining Version 2 with Prince song titles in colorful display. The song titles graphics of this version were also used on the video screens during the performance of the song during the Diamonds And Pearls Tour.
Version 4, also from April 1992, mixes footage from Versions 1 and 2.
