Emancipation
(Album)

New World is an unreleased album by worked on in 1995 and effectively a precursor to what became the album Emancipation. It was mentioned by Mayte in an interview with Uptown Magazine in July 1995. Mayte described it as a "techno" album, But apart from New World and Slave (as Candle Burns), both of which were later released on Emancipation), the tracklist doesn’t really suggest this. Five further tracks from this album: Feel Good, D J, 2020, Funky Design and Goodbye were also at some point, considered for the Emancipation album.

It is not entirely clear whether viewed these two albums as entirely separate projects or simply saw these as two names for the same project; for clarity’s sake, informations pertaining to Emancipation and its early configurations are listed on that album’s page.
