Lisa is an unreleased track recorded in Summer 1980 at Prince's North Arm Drive Home Studio in Orono, Minnesota. It was filed for copyright at the Library of Congress on 4 August 1980. It is not known if the track was intended for any particular project, although its distinct synth sound and monotonous, hypnotic feel, probably led to Prince discarding it from any consideration for the Dirty Mind album. An edited version also exists, potentially for inclusion on a single, although this is unverified.
The track is named after band member Lisa Coleman and contains humorous lyrics about tempting her away from her lover.
The track is unrelated to the 1984 instrumental Lisa (later renamed Yes), although that track was also named after Lisa Coleman.
