Talkin’ Loud And Sayin’ Nothing is a track originally recorded by James Brown from his 1972 album There It Is, written by James Brown and Bobby Byrd. It was also released as a single (originally in 1970, and again in 1972), where the song was split into "pt. 1" and "pt. 2". Prince played the song live regularly from 1996-1998, and released a live version on the Beautiful Strange VHS release, recorded at the Cafe De Paris, in London. He is not known to have recorded a studio version.
