This entry details a video for the song P. Control. Most of the shooting took place in the evening of 8 June 1995 at the Glam Slam South, Miami, Florida, where Prince was giving shows to celebrate his ’second' birthday as  (video for The Good Life was also shot that same day, in the morning). Initial shooting took place on 3 February 1995 at the Glam Slam West, Los Angeles, California.
The video follows the storyline of the song with trying to impress and seduce an accomplished woman portrayed by Sharon Ferguson. He approaches her abruptly while she is in her car with her friends (and in his BMW). He take her coat off without her consent before entering the club. Other scenes reportedly includes Ferguson and some other dancers dancing topless except for tape over their breasts on stage.
The P. Control video was shot three months before the release of The Gold Experience. The song was released as a promotional single, but for unknown reasons, the video was never released to any television stations or used as a promotional tool for the album. It was not included in the VH1 Break part of the Love 4 One Another TV-special (aired in early 1996) neither.
