Go Go Dancer is the first video by Carmen Electra released for broadcast and to promote the single. It was shot at in late March 1992 at the John Marshall High School in Los Angeles, California. The video was directed by Randee St. Nicholas and features a cameo by Monie Love.

The video is about a high school gymnast who leads a double life and dances in clubs at night.

Go Go Dancer received very little airplay on music channels. The album was due to be released on 25 July 1992, a month after the single. It was decided that the album needed to be reworked with new tracks and additional re-mixing, thus pushing the release back to early 1993.
