Elephant Box is a video by Ingrid Chavez released for broadcast and to promote the single. Exact shooting date and location are unknown but it was likely shot in Summer 1991 in California. Elephant Box was directed by Matthew Rolston.
Ingrid Chavez is seen sleeping and dreaming, with an 'elephant box' (shown at the end) under her pillow, following the lyrics of the song. This box encapsulates her dreams in which she sees herself wearing 1920s clothes in an alternate universe visually close to both Man Ray and Marlene Dietrich but still colorful.
Two versions of the video were created for broadcast: the first with an edit of the album version while the second is longer and uses the Elephant Box (Junior Vasquez Elephant House Mix) version of the track.
