Waiting 4 Your Love is an unreleased song recorded on 14 March 1991 at Larrabee Sound Studios in North Hollywood, California (two days after Simp The Pimp).
It is not known if the song was intended for his next album Diamonds And Pearls or any other project.
Although the formal artist credit isn’t known, songs from this recording period were released under the name Prince and the New Power Generation, so that credit is used for this entry.
Since Rosie Gaines has covered (with or without Prince) some Bob Marley songs during that era (Turn Your Lights Down Low and Concrete Jungle) for her planned solo album, it is possible that Waiting 4 Your Love is a cover of Waiting In Vain, later covered by Prince and Andy Allo, but this has not been verified.
