Strollin’ is the fifth track on Prince’s thirteenth album Diamonds And Pearls, the first album to be credited to Prince and the New Power Generation. In 1992, it was included as the b-side of Sexy M.F., the first single from the following album . Basic tracking took place on 4 September 1990 at Warner Pioneer Studios, Tokyo, Japan (on the same day as Willing And Able, 5 Women, Money Don’t Matter 2 Night, and the instrumental Darkside, that would evolve into Blood On The Sheets). Some additional recording took place later in 1990 at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. The track was included as the fourth track on the December 1990, configuration of Diamonds And Pearls, but was moved to become the fifth track on the 1 March 1991 and 8 May 1991 configurations, where it remained for release.
