Prince is an official, verified YouTube channel on which classic Prince videos are posted.
The site started off with a short lived attempt in 2014 when on 6 March 2014, a link to the full episode of the Arsenio Hall show Prince had just appeared on was posted. This was the only video on the channel for two weeks until it was taken down on 20 March 2014, leaving the channel void of content.
In July 2017 the channel was seemingly taken over by Warner Bros.. To promote the newly released Purple Rain Deluxe album, videos of four Purple Rain songs were posted, with Purple Rain itself oddly omitted, but both a short and long version of When Doves Cry. The following Fridays more classic Prince videos from 1979-1983 appeared, including ones never avaiable to the public in any form before, other than their airing on television.
