3rdEyeGirl.com was a merchant website launched by Prince on 5 February, 2013 with 4 tracks to download at $0.88 each. The access to the site was free.

3rdEyeGirl.com first came as a single page, displaying the 3rdEyeGirl artwork, previously used for 3rd Eye Girl social media accounts, four rows of one title to download and two buttons (Cart and Checkout). The structure was very basic at first: main, shopping cart, check out and my account pages. It evolved quickly with the addition of FAQs, Terms Of Service and Privacy Policy pages.

On 22 March, 2013 the website evolved again: a menu was added on top of all pages (Tour / Music / Video / FAQs / Home), while dedicated pages were created for Tour, Music and Videos.

On 12 June, 2013 "Tour" was deleted from the menu on top of all pages (Music / Video / FAQs / Home) although the "Tour" page was still accessible via its direct address "http://3rdeyegirl.com/tour/".

The website opens with a "shh.mp3" sound that features a sample formerly used on Prince’s NPG Music Club doors when opening.

3rdEyeGirl.com first version was ran under Wordpress with free flagship plugin WooCommerce e-commerce facility. Minneapolis based web agency, http://bizzyweb.com/ created the site for Prince; at launch, the website experienced 'deny of service' time outs, probably due to a too large number of connections. It was taken down around 11:00 AM CET by the administrators and restored 30 minutes later.

On 28 June, 2013 a revamped website was launched. No longer a music store, the website is now a general site, promoting music and videos through a brand new music store: 3rdEyeTunes.com. It showcases a selection of pictures and video streams, some of them previously seen via the 3rdEyeGirl twitter account or third part social media. The second occurrence of 3rdEyeGirl.com also feature a "Tour" Section as well as links to 3rdEye TV LiveStream channel and the aforementioned newly opened "store". A merchandise section "coming soon" has been promoted through an advert seen on LiveStream.

On 2 October, 2013, all content from the music section was removed, although still available on 3rdEyeTunes.com. The video section was also updated, keeping all free videos, leaving the 4 removed videos were available on 3rdEyeTunes.com.

On 25 August, 2014, the website disappeared from view, and was relinked to Warner Bros Records preorder website plectrumelectrum.3rdeyegirl.com
