Allegiance is the fourth solo studio album by former Shalamar singer Howard Hewett, and was released in November 1992 (on the same day as two singles by Prince and the New Power Generation - 7 and Damn U). The album contained the title track Allegiance, a track written by Prince (although he did not play on the released version).

The album produced one single, Save Your Sex For Me. The album did not enter the US Billboard Pop Chart, and reached only number 73 on the Billboard R&B Chart.

Allegiance was recorded by Prince in early October 1991, but was re-recorded by Howard Hewett between late 1991 and late 1992.
