The title of the remix, 7 Minutes MoQuake, inspired a follow-up fan-site, www.moquake.com, which opened in 2010, but closed a year later.
- "The penguin" as credited was a plush toy penguin that would lie around in the studio; because of the sometimes long hours people would fall asleep and others would place the penguin with them and take a Polaroid picture. The crew brought the penguin on the Sign O' The Times Tour as a crew mascot, and in Rotterdam (while shooting for the Sign O' The Times movie), the crew placed it behind the big mirror heart where Prince and Cat would lie against at the end of If I Was Your Girlfriend, when it was lowered down. The penguin was facing Prince as the heart came down, to the crew's enjoyment.
