NPG Ahdio Show Chronology

NPG Ahdio Show # 6

NPG Ahdio Show # 7

NPG Ahdio Show # 8

NPG Ahdio Show 7 was released as an mp3 download concurrently with Judas Smile, Horny Pony, Get Wild (Miami Mix) and Golden Parachute (Long Version) (all mp3 audio files) as NPG Music Club Edition # 7 (a live .mov video file of Bambi was released to complete the edition two days later), on the same day as part of NPG Music Club Edition # 8. No official artwork is available for this (or any) show.

This edition contains one track which was previously unreleased in full, High (which was later released separately), and previously-unreleased live versions of three tracks from the 30 May 1986, Wiltern Theatre, Los Angeles, CA, USA show, Automatic, D.M.S.R. and The Dance Electric (which had previously only been released by André Cymone, not Prince).

Two previously-released tracks by Prince (or SymbolSmallerBlue.png/Prince and the New Power Generation) are included. Five tracks by other artists with Prince input are included, which are available elsewhere.

Two tracks by other artists without any input by Prince are included: Kain't Turn Back by Mavis Staples and Higher Than High by Tony LeMans. Eight NPG Ahdio Segues were included, all of which are unavailable elsewhere.

Track Listing

Timings are not given, as several of the tracks overlap or feature spoken segues in the format of a radio DJ speaking over a song's introduction. Please note that tracks that are simple edits of other versions are not included in that song's listing - a track is included in the individual song listing only if it is a remix, live, or other alternate recording.
