  • 1978 – Release of Prince’s first single Soft And Wet b/w So Blue
  • 1991 – A promotional 12" single of Gett Off is sent out to select DJs to celebrate Prince’s 33rd birthday
  • 1992 – A promotional 12" single of Sexy M.F. is sent out to select DJs to celebrate Prince’s 34th birthday
  • 1994 – Release of the CD-ROM game Interactive, including the previously-unreleased audio track Interactive
  • 1996 – A promotional cassette single of Dinner With Delores is sent out in a select mailing to subscribers of the Prince/O(+> Family Newsletter

  • 1993Prince announces he will change his name to an unpronounceable symbol: SymbolSmallerBlue.png
  • 1993 – Planned release date for the aborted Papa EP
  • 1995 – At Glam Slam Miami Beach, FL, USA footage for a video for Count The Days is shot
  • 1995 – The New Power Generation Stores in London and Minneapolis premier a new track, Poom Poom, for customers
  • 1996 - Warner Bros. opens the website www.wbr.com/chaosanddisorder, which streams Dinner With Delores, marking the first time a Prince track premiered online. The site also offered a screensaver download and snippets of the Dinner With Delores video
  • 1997 – At the 16th annual Minnesota Black Music Awards Prince is presented with a lifetime-achievement award. He did not show up to collect his award.
  • 1998 – In Los Angeles Prince shoots a video for The One, directed by Mayte
  • 2000 – Start of the first 'Prince Celebration' in Minneapolis, MN, USA
  • 2010 – Minnesota Public Radio station 89.3 The Current plays a previously-unreleased song, Hot Summer.
