Thrill You Or Kill You is an unreleased track recorded in February 1978 at Music Farm Studios in New York, NY, USA, around the same time as of sessions led by Pepé Willie intended for Tony Silvester, leader of the group The Main Ingredient to use as demos for The Imperials, who he wanted to produce (the one-day session also produced I Feel For You, With You and André Cymone’s original version of Do Me, Baby).
The track was then re-recorded between 10-21 July 1979 at Mountain Ears Sound Studio in Boulder, Colorado, during sessions for The Rebels album (the same set of sessions that produced Too Long, Disco Away, You, If I Love You Tonight, The Loser, Hard To Get, an untitled instrumental by Dez Dickerson and an untitled instrumental by André Cymone). The song was written by André Cymone. Lyrically, the song shares many similarities with Irresistible Bitch, including a very similar first verse, but this track was not directly quoted, and the two tracks should be considered distinct.
