Nothing Compares 2 U is a Prince video released for broadcast and to promote the single.
It was not filmed as a video for Nothing Compares 2 U per se, but taken from the filming of the 27 January 1992 (a.m.) show at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, Minnesota. The live performance is interspiced with clips of previously released videos were used as well as some shots from Rosie Gaines.
