A month later, on 10 February 2013 a short film containing new footage for Screwdriver and featuring the 3rdEyeGirl band was released on 3rdEyeGirl.com. The band rehearsed together from December 2012, and were reported as having over 100 songs in their catalog. 3rdEyeGirl backed Prince on the Live Out Loud Tour and for his performance at 2013 Billboard Awards on 19 May 2013 at MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas (NV) USA. They were incorporated into The NPG band from July 2013 onwards, although they still occasionally appeared as Prince's sole backing band. |
