The following personnel and/or artists are excluded from having a biography page:
- Sheila E. bandmembers, unless they also worked with Prince (for example: Susie Davies)
- Bandmembers who only guested a couple of times live or in the studio (for example: Garrett Smith)
- Associated artists who already had a successful career before their association with Prince:
- - George Clinton, Chaka Khan, Loïs Lane, Martika, Mavis Staples, etc.
- Associated Artist that only had one or two songs given to them or only had their album released on a Prince-label:
- - Dale, Good Question, Tony LeMans, Three O'Clock, Taja Sevelle etc.
