- This was the third show of the Prince: Piano & A Microphone tour. It was the first of two Melbourne shows on the same night and third of four shows at the venue.
- It was first announced on 5 February 2016
- Tickets for this show went on sale on Tuesday 9 February 2016 at 12 noon AEDT and sold out quickly. Although limited extra tickets were made available on 15 February.
- Actual tickets and wristbands, both needed to gain access to the venue were available at the venue’s box office at noon on the day of show.
- Every ticket purchased included a copy of the Hitnrun Phase Two album, distributed to ticket holders upon exiting the venue.
- This show included the first performance by Prince of Linus And Lucy, albeit as an interpolation only (during Dirty Mind).
