- This was the twelfth show of the Prince: Piano & A Microphone tour, the first one in the USA (not counting 2 shows at Paisley Park Studios in January that weren’t officially part of the tour) . It was the first of two shows on the same night at the venue.
- This show was first announced on Tuesday 23 February 2016.
- Tickets for this show went on sale on Wednesday 24 February 2016 at 12 noon PST and sold out within minutes. There was a four ticket limit per purchase.
- Non transferable 'paperless tickets' were used for this show, which meant the original ticket purchaser had to attend the event, then at entry the credit card used to purchase and valid photo ID had to be provided, with the name on the credit card matching the photo ID and the entire party must enter the venue at the same time.
- Every ticket purchased included a copy of the Hitnrun Phase Two album, distributed to ticket holders upon exiting the venue.
- This show included the final live performances by Prince of Batman Theme, Stand!, and Unchain My Heart (as part of Thieves In The Temple).
