Definition
Below are all Prince singles that have charted the Nederlandse Top 40 from 1978 to present day. Top 10 hits are highlighted in light purple. Release dates are those valid for The Netherlands. Numbers in brackets after peak number indicate the number of weeks a record remained at peak position.
Singles that only charted in the Tipparade chart (indicated with TIP overlooking the peak position figure) are listed in gray. For these entries the weeks in charts are not indicated to avoid confusion. The Tipparade is an equivalent of Billboard Bubbling Under The Hot 100, and has 30 positions.
The Dutch Top 40 charts are dated on Saturdays and broadcast on Fridays. The data are based on record sales, airplay and (since 2003) digital downloads.
