Trivia

This was the first of two shows in Portland, OR, the third tourstop on the Live Out Loud Tour, announced on 20 March 2013. It was the only city on the tour to get only one night of two sets. Tickets for this – and all (West Coast) shows of the tour – went on sale 22 March 2013 at 12:00 p.m. PST. Like with the other shows 2 x 50 $100 (+ fees) tickets were released on the day of the show, courtesy of Prince with proceeds going to charity the American Music Program, which is made up of young musicians from local schools, to fund their trip to New York to take part in Essentially Ellington contest, and educational festival at Manhattan’s Lincoln Center.
