Trivia

  • This show was a not entirely successful attempt to do a surprise show, as late afternoon on Thursday 6 March website thewrap.com featured an article that Prince would play two secret shows at the Palladium on 7 and 8 March.
  • The show was announced by Prince on stage the night before, when Prince played a surprise set following a show byLiv Warfield at the Hollywood Palladium, where he said words to the effect of "Palladium, We are gonna play as couple more if you promise to come back tomorrow." And again at the end of his set "We are the best and so are you! Thank you so much, See you tomorrow night." However no further confirmation came until the venue started selling tickets at the box office at 11:00 a.m. (PST) Saturday morning.
  • The remix version of Funknroll was played over the PA after the show.
  • With 220 minutes this was one of the longest shows Prince ever played, only beat by the 225 minute one-off show in New Morning, Paris, France on 23 July 2010 (a.m.)
