Rescheduled or Canceled Concerts
Rescheduled or Canceled Concerts
Definition
This is a non-exhaustive list that includes all known rescheduled and canceled concerts in Prince’s concert history.
It includes performances that were:
- canceled after tickets went on sale;
- rescheduled to a prior or later date after tickets went on sale;
- scheduled in preliminary tour itineraries, later rescheduled to a different date or venue, or canceled;
- planned by a promoter, or Prince’s team, but never materialized.
Rescheduled concerts are dates that were moved in a tour or concert agenda, with the possibility for attendants who already purchased their tickets to use their ticket for the new date, or be refunded. Sometimes a canceled concert will appear again several months later in a new concert agenda. In this case the concert will be not be considered rescheduled, but 'newly scheduled'.
Shows that were first rescheduled and subsequently canceled, are listed as ’rescheduled' under the former date, with the date they were rescheduled to in the comments. If they were eventually canceled they are listed under the last date they were planned for too with 'canceled' in the comments.
