While initially the shows were indeed announced to not necessarily all be at The Forum, the moniker ''21 Nite Stand'' definitely suggested 21 shows on as many nights in (or around) Los Angeles. Yet now, to reach 21 the May shows in Fresno and San Jose were counted as three shows towards the 21 tally, even when they took place far from Los Angeles and were advertised as ’standard' Welcome 2 America shows when going on sale, specifically not part of the 21 Nite Stand. The 3 shows on 25 May 'Late Nite Jam', 'Jazz Cafe' and 'Private Charity Event' were also counted as 3 shows towards the 21, even when the original billing was '21 Nites', not 21 shows. With those six counted (but oddly the two Troubadour shows on May 12 not counted) this concert now became show # 21. Yet another way of counting is to count the George Lopez Show appearance on 13 May (before the actual Show #1) and then the two Troubadour shows counting as 2 shows towards the 21. That reaches 21 sans the Fresno & San Jose shows. |
