On 11 January 2016, the track Ruff Enuff by Mono Neon, featuring Prince as producer and musician, was released as Tidal’s Purple Pick of the Week and as a stand-alone download. A few hours later, it was replaced with a vocal version of the track, with vocoder vocals by Adrian Crutchfield.

Hitnrun Phase Two album download
On 12 December 2015, Prince’s 39th album Hitnrun Phase Two was released as a digital download through Tidal without prior announcement, expect for some seemingly random cryptic tweets via Prince’s official twitter account @Prince3EG. The album is avialable through Tidal as lossless download and mp3, only as a set with Hitnrun Phase One and through iTunes and others in m4a/mp3 format as standalone download.

Hitnrun Phase One CD / download release
On 14 September 2015, Hitnrun Phase One was released worldwide on CD and digital download. The release was not listed ahead of time on most retailers' lists and did not fall on the usual Friday release date. It was intended to be a surprise, although French retailers began selling it three days earlier.

On 23 November, 2011 a single of Extraloveable, containing a 2011 re-recording of the previously-unreleased 1982 track Extraloveable, was released on iTunes Canada. The song features a rap by Andy Allo, and was presented as a Canadian exclusive to celebrate the tour to come, but it was also available in Europe and in Australia from the 24th onwards.

Trombone Shorty posted on Twitter on 23 November, 2011: "Dream come true worked in the studio with Prince and Maceo Parker yesterday!!!" He had posted the previous day that he was in Minneapolis, so it can be assumed that the session took place at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA. Andy Allo posted the following day that she hoped Shorty would take up the offer of joining the band on the Welcome 2 Canada Tour.

Prince sang lyrics to a new song, Only Heaven Knows (over the music of Thank You For Talkin’ To Me Africa on 30 June, 2011 at Stade de France, Saint-Denis, France. A few other new songs have been performed in recent months: a new song, tentatively known as We Live (2 Get Funky), was performed on the French TV show Le Grand Journal, broadcast live on TV and online (although the song was first played live three days earlier, 24 June, 2011). Also played was a previously-unknown song by new bandmember Andy Allo, tentatively known as People Pleaser, which may have writing input by Prince, although this is not known. A song tentatively known as When She Comes was performed at the one-off show on 11 May, 2011. A song tentatively known as U Will B was played on 5 May, 2011. The lyrics of Gingerbread Man have been sung over the backing music of The Question Of U/The One a few times, beginning 29 December, 2010. Welcome 2 America was premiered on 18 December, 2010, and lyrics from the track have been included a few times in performances of Dreamer since then. Black Muse, sung by Shelby J., Liv Warfield & Elisa Dease while Prince was offstage, was played during the first Welcome 2 America Tour show, 15 December, 2010. It is not known if these are intended for a particular project. See the songs' entries for more details.
Dirty Mind, Controversy and 1999 vinyl re-releases
Prince’s third, fourth and fifth albums Dirty Mind, Controversy and 1999 were to be re–released 19 April on 180g vinyl by Warner Bros./Rhino Records, but they were delayed until 10 May. No additional information is known yet about packaging or anything that is unique to these releases.
The Cookhouse Five sessions
94 East released a digital collection of The Cookhouse Five sessions on 5 April, 2011. This set includes If We Don’t, If You See Me, I’ll Always Love You, Games and Better Than You Think, featuring Prince as a musician, to mark the 35th anniversary of their recording (although the tracks were recorded in 1975). The tracks are remixed by Matt "Dr." Fink.
The Best Of Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame + Museum Live digital album released with While My Guitar Gently Weeps featuring Prince
A digital album titled The Best Of Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame + Museum Live was released on 15 March, 2011, including Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Steve Winwood, Dhani Harrison and Prince’s live version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps, marking its first audio release (the song was previously released on DVD).
1999 album re-released in Australia
Prince’s fifth album 1999 was re-released in Australia on 4 March, 2011. The album was not remastered, and contained no additional tracks.

KTU.com Prince interview podcast
http://www.ktu.com/pages/podcast.html On 13 December, 2010, KTU.com released an audio podcast of Prince's appearance the same day on New York, NY, USA, radio station 103.5 KTU, giving a brief interview about the upcoming Welcome 2 America Tour. This is believed to be the first authorized podcast of a Prince interview.

The recording, taken from 22 October, 2010, MCH MultiArena / Jyske Bank Boxen, Herning, Denmark, is the first available recording to feature new bass guitarist Ida Nielsen.
Dale Bozzio album Make Love Not War
Make Love Not War On 31 October, 2010, Dale Bozzio released an album collecting rare and unreleased tracks mostly recorded in 1991. Included is Take Me To Your Leader, co-written by Prince. No credits are given, but the track is credited as Take Me To Your Leader (Prince Mix), indicating he was involved in production also.
Rich Friends KTU 103.5 radio stream
http://http://www.europe1.fr/ As previously-unreleased song, Rich Friends, was streamed in full (with three station IDs overdubbed onto the track) on KTU.com (the website of New York, NY, USA, radio station 103.5 KTU), beginning on 14 October, 2010. French radio station Europe 1 had previously debuted a clip of the song on 8 October, 2010. The DJ announced the track as coming from a "new" album, 20TEN Deluxe (which is thought to be a deluxe edition of 20Ten, although no other details are currently known).
Sheila E.: From E 2 U EP release
On 15 August, 2010, Sheila E. sold a 5-song EP at two shows she performed at Yoshi's, San Francisco, CA, USA. The EP's first track, Leader Of The Band, was written by Prince, who also appears on piano. Sheila E. also indicated through her Twitter account that the EP would be available through her website within a matter of days.
20Ten CD release
On 10 July, 2010, Prince's 35th studio album, 20Ten, was released as a covermount with Belgium newspapers Het Nieuwsblad & De Gentenaar and British newspaper The Daily Mirror (sold in a different edition as The Daily Record in Scotland). German magazine Rolling Stone and French newspaper Courrier International also carried the album beginning on 22 July, 2010.
